Faith beats stress

Greeting:
God is prompting me for the next couple of days to revisit a frequent subject of my writings - faith.
Stress makes us believe that everything has to happen right now. Faith reassures us that everything will happen in God's timing”.
Stress is a powerful force of evil that preys on our emotions, our weaknesses or truly vulnerable position. Stress activates our doubts and causes us to push the panic button, rather than approaching a situation in thoughtful prayer and faith.
How many of you know that when you are stressed out, that fear replaces faith?
Faith, according to my New Living Bible, is 'reliance, loyalty and complete trust in God'.
Hebrews11:1 tells us, “Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives the assurance about things we can not see.”
In simple terms, faith is trusting in God. Lack of faith is doubting God.
We need to walk in faith, even when it doesn't feel good, even when it hurts or even when we don't understand a situation were are placed in.
If we truly believe God's promises, we will still have faith 'to keep on keeping on' even when the flames and hills of life are all around us.
Be blessed.

Pray with expectancy

Note - For the next several days I will be off the grid with no Internet or phone service. I will resume my morning writings on Monday.  ...
