Can we stay awake?

Greetings:
During these sometimes troubling days, it's hard sometimes to remember God's love for each of us.
But it is an undeniable truth that God loves each one of us no matter what.
Like a caring parent, he is many times disappointed in our actions, but he still forgives us, and above all loves us.
Are we willing to love God no matter what?
Will you follow and love God, no matter what?
When things are going well in your life and the bills are paid, when you are healthy, when you have a nice place to live,  when your children and grandchildren are doing well, it's easy to say “God I love you and know you love me”.
But, what do we voice when things aren't going so well in our lives?
What is your reply to God when the world around you seems to be falling apart and your sense of security, stability and your Christian walk are being tested?
You know sometimes the heat is fired up much hotter than you feel comfortable with, do we still love God just the same?
Will you do anything God asks you to do without conditions?
Will you give it all and love God no matter what?
God is impressing on me to listen closely to his written Word and to listen even closer to the instructions he gives through the Holy Spirit. That is why it's important to set aside time each day to pray and to be still and listen.
Do not be like the disciples that we read about in Matthew 26, who dozed off three different times while Jesus separated himself to pray.
Can we stay awake and hear the voice of God speaking to us?
